Residential FAQ
How much do your services cost?
The Pacific Northwest offers the perfect environment to many different pest species to flourish. Different pests require a different treatment, and therefore a different price.
Eden offers customized contracts to meet your budget needs and specific expectations. Our prices reflect that. When you contact our office 800.401.9935 we will provide an approximate price range for the pest you describe. Our technicians will confirm the accuracy of that estimate during your free inspection. During the inspection, one of our representatives will thoroughly investigate your concern; give you his or her recommendation for treatment, and Eden’s price for the service.
What if I just want one service, not an ongoing contract...Are you going to make me sign-up for a year?
Eden also offers one time services (although a one time service may also include 1-3 follow-up visits) and we will guarantee our work for a certain period of time. The technician or inspector will be able to give you a written, individualized guarantee at the time of inspection. For example, certain pests like Pavements Ants are generally guaranteed for 30-60days after the last service. For long term solutions, peace of mind we recommend programs like our Enhanced Service Program that controls a wide variety of pests on a bi-monthly frequency. We have found that these programs are the most effective way to protect your home and property from pests year round.
However, We will never lock you into a service program that you do not want or need. Although the enhanced service program is an ongoing service, you are not "stuck" in a contract, we just provide an agreement that you can cancel at any time before your next service.
Do you offer Green or all-natural services?
Yes, we offer you our Natural Choice Program, using only organic products. You can rely on our well-trained and knowledgeable staff to make educated decisions when protecting you from pest activity.
All of our service programs are based on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices. IPM is an intelligent, environmentally responsible approach to pest management. IPM involves thorough inspections and pest prevention, rather than over-reacting with pesticides & chemicals. The IPM approach includes combined treatment methods like: sealing off pest entry points, removing or modifying habitat conditions that are conducive to infestations, and providing education and tips to keep your home pest free!
What makes you different from other pest control companies?
Eden is family owned with a culture and team that is quality driven, friendly, and trustworthy! We put you first and treat your home and business even better than we would treat our own.
All pest control companies are required to be licensed by the department of agriculture. At Eden we take our knowledge of pest behavior and treatment to the next level by providing ongoing education and training programs to our technicians. We take pride in the opportunity to better serve you with our friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Our third party designations also set us apart from other companies.
QualityPro is an industry program designed to increase professionalism and the level of quality that pest control companies provide. It is built on four key principles: business operations, consumer relations, environmental stewardship, and employee training/knowledge. We are very proud to have earned this designation by providing you, our clients, with the best possible service.
Eden is also Greenshield Certified. Green shield certification is designed by the National IPM Institute and recognizes companies who deliver smarter, more effective pest control…without unnecessary use of pesticide. We earned this certification by solving underlying causes of pest problems and providing our clients with effective, prevention based pest control.
Do you guarantee your work?
While it is difficult to guarantee the total eradication of all pest activity, Eden will warranty our work, under most circumstances.
We warranty initial services for one year if the recommended treatment is accepted by the customer. The initial service, depending on the pest, may require 1-3 follow-up visits in order to warranty the results of a service.
Our every-other-month Enhanced Service Program is the lowest frequency service plan that we can warranty year-round. This means that if you have us out every-other-month on a regular basis, but discover a new or stubborn pest issue in-between visits, we will come out to solve that problem ASAP, at no additional cost.
What are your payment options?
We continually strive to implement efficient and environmentally sound business practices at Eden. Our clients have access to their online accounts to view details in their account and to pay online.
We also have an Auto Payment Program that automatically charges your preferred credit card after the service has been completed.
Eden will still accept checks and payment over the phone for the time being. However, we are striving to become a paperless company, so these options will diminish with time.
Do you do inspections for the sale of a home?
While we do offer Free Inspections to help you identify pest concerns and treatment methods, we do not offer inspections that are meant specifically for the purchase or sale of your home. If you’re looking for a company that does, we may have some recommendations for other companies, depending on your location.
What products do you use?
We use a variety of products of both synthetic and organic ingredient. The product needed to control a pest concern is generally determined after the pest is identification of the level and location of infestation is determined.
Regardless of what product we use, we apply all products responsibly and to remote areas, causing the least exposure to our clients and our environment. At your request we provide Material Safety Data Sheets for any product that we apply.
It’s also important to note that Eden does not rely solely on products to solve your pest concerns. We combine treatment methods for the most effective solutions and prevention of future concerns.
